BECAUSE WE LOVE YOU

June in Texas - We know it's getting hot out there. So come in out of the heat and we'll take 40% off of Jerry's already discounted price for any one item in the store - your choice. Use it to get that easel you've been saving up for, or that handmade Spanish paintbrush you've wanted for so long.
Whatever you choose, it's our way of saying thanks for being such a great community, Austin.

Happy Summer!

Also, keep in mind that there's only one week left of our giant paint sale!

STRETCHING YOUR OWN CANVAS
WITH LINDA WANDT
Saturday, June 19 (12-3PM)

Have you ever wanted to paint on a canvas of your very own making? Well, if the answer is yes, your time has come. Linda Wandt will show you how to stretch a canvas to any size your heart desires. In this highly demanded demo Linda will show you how to properly assemble stretcher bars and stretch canvas over them to make a beautiful canvas. Come out and learn something new or just make sure you were doing it correct all this time.

Linda Wandt was born in Huntington, New York in 1981 and studied oil painting at the University of Texas at Austin, where she obtained a BA in studio art in 2006. She primarily paints figures in narration, or attempts to pose questions to her audience through visual means. Her paintings are usually bright, expressionist and often surreal. She has shown her work in various local businesses around Austin, and has participated in the East Austin Studio Tour in 2008-2009.
