Artist Trading Card Meet Ups!

What are Artist Trading Cards?
Artist Trading Cards grew out of the Mail Art movement of the '60s. Their beginning is credited to the Swiss artist M. Vänci Stirnemann in the mid 1990s, when he started creating and trading cards roughly the size of a baseball card with friends and other artists. The movement caught on and has become something of a global phenomenon.

How does it work?
There are a few rules to it - the card must measure roughly 2.5 x 3.5 inches. They have to be traded - not sold! And the ATC should be signed and dated on the back. Any medium can be used (collage, pencil, paint, pens, fabric, etc.). That's all there is to it!

When can I trade?
Come by the store every 2nd & 4th Sunday of the month
from 1-3pm to trade and see what people have created.

And don't forget to post your favorite ATCs to our Facebook page!
